This class was a challenge for me, but not because I have difficulty with technology. I’m very adept at technology and pick it up quickly. I just have my favorite things and I like to stick with them. So, I was pushed out of my comfort zone. Often. And that’s a good thing! As frustrating as it was in the moment, I have learned a lot and am better for it.
I got really excited about the Cartoons and Comics assignment. It was definitely my favorite. I really enjoyed learning new and different types of comics that I could create. The Thinglink UDL design was the most difficult assignment for me. I couldn’t figure out how to download the completed plan with all the media without paying for it, and that was frustrating. I think the Comics assignment will most benefit students. It is something easy to implement and for the kids to create something. And that’s always the goal, to have students create something that expresses their learning.
